Cordyceps Flower Wolfberries Soup


1/2 Chicken
10g Cordyceps Flower
10g Dried Chinese Yam
5g Wolfberries
20g Ginger
Salt to taste

Cooking Steps

1) Clean and cut the chicken into pieces. Blanch, drain and set aside.
2) Soak the cordyceps flower for 10 minutes, drain and set aside. Rinse the wolfberries, drain and set aside. Peel and slice the ginger.
3) In a pot, add some oil and sauté the ginger until fragrant. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown.
4) Add the Chinese yam, cordyceps flower, enough water and bring it to boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to low, cover the lid and cook for 2 hours.
5) Add the wolfberries and cook for another 15 minutes.Season with salt and ready to serve.
